Schedule for 2016 City Council Meetings
Location: Kilkenny Community Building/Library
When: Second Monday of each month, except holidays.
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Effective as of February 1, 2016
Kilkenny City Office Hours:
Tuesday: 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Wednesday: 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Thursday: 4:00 to 6:00 pm
New City Clerk/Administrator is Tanya Heinen.
Tanya will be at the office to accept water payments, dog licenses applications and for general questions.
At the December 2015 council meeting, the council appointed Luke Wetzel to fulfill the remainder of former councilmember Jennifer Holicky’s term. This year is an election year and the council will have 4 spots up for
election, that are currently held by councilmembers Terry Ferch, Rex Bull, Luke Wetzel and Mayor Kevin Taaffe, Jr. Watch the newsletter in coming months for updates on the election process as well as when filing will open up for these elected positions.
2016 Dog License Application
License applications can be picked up at the First National Bank (Kilkenny Branch) or by contacting the city office.
Completed applications (one per dog), along with a copy of up to date rabies vaccinations and $5.00/per dog can be mailed to: City of Kilkenny, PO Box 135, Kilkenny, MN 56052
Good for the 2016 Calendar Year.
Drinking Water Report
The City of Kilkenny is issuing the results of monitoring done on its drinking water for the period from January 1 to December 31, 2014. The purpose of this report is to advance consumers’ understanding of drinking water and heighten awareness of the need to protect precious water resources. CLICK HERE to download report.

Hours for September through May are as follows:
Monday: 3pm to 5pm.
Wednesday: 3pm to 5pm.
Friday: 3pm to 5pm.
1st & 3rd Saturday of the Month: 11am to 1pm.
Library Fun Days are every 3rd Saturday from noon until 1 pm. This event is FREE to ALL area children ages 2 to 10.
