 Assessment Notice

Notice is hereby given, That the Board of Appeal and Equalization Open Book Meeting of Kilkenny City, LeSueur County, Minnesota, will meet at the Le Sueur County Courthouse in said County from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Tuesday, the 15th day of April, 2014 for the purpose of reviewing and correcting the assessment of said City for the year 2014. All persons considering themselves aggrieved by said assessment, or who wish to complain that property of another is assessed too low, are hereby notified to appear at said meeting, and show cause of having such assessment corrected. 


No complaint that another person is assessed too low will be acted upon until the person so assessed, or his agent have been notified of such complaint.

Kickball Tournament - Sat., July 12

3rd Annual Fundraiser Co-Ed Kickball Tournament is Saturday, July 12, 2014. All entries and fees are due by June 13th non-refundable entry fee is $125. We will be able to take the first 10 teams that register with payment. Mandatory captains meeting will be held on Monday, June 23rd at the Kilkenny Communit Center at 6:30pm. CASH prizes will be awarded to the top two teams. Concession stand with Food and Beverages will be open. CLICK HERE to download form with all info and registration.


Half-way to St. Paddy's Day Celebration

The first planning meeting for our 2nd Annual Half-way to St. Paddy's Day Celebration is Monday, May 5 at 7:00 pm at Kilkenny Public Library. Meeting is open to the public, please bring your ideas!

Kilkenny Area Parks and Recreation Board Application

We welcome you as an applicant for one of the City of Kilkenny’s boards, commissions, or committees. Residents, township or area supporters of Kilkenny are eligible for nomination to any of the City of Kilkenny’s advisory boards as established by the City Council. Dog Licenses Due February 1, 2014


License applications can be picked up at the First National Bank (Kilkenny Branch) or by contacting the city office.

Completed applications (one per dog), along with a copy of up to date rabies vaccinations and $5.00/per dog can be mailed to: City of Kilkenny, PO Box 135, Kilkenny, MN 56052



Drinking Water Report

The City of Kilkenny is issuing the results of monitoring done on its drinking water for the period from January 1 to December 31, 2012. The purpose of this report is to advance consumers’ understanding of drinking water and heighten awareness of the need to protect precious water resources.
